Smoke & Fire Damage - Mold Remediation
Advanced Services & Solutions specializes in restoring structures suffering from smoke and fire damage. We also remediate mold & fungus contamination, which can be found on marble & limestone monuments, homes, and other places.
The main types of media used for cleaning, restoration and remediation are Dry Ice, Sodium Bicarbonate and Walnut Shells. Our Media is Non-Toxic and Environmentally friendly. FDA/USDA and OSHA approved.
The process of soda blasting is non-destructive. Sodium-bicarbonate and dry ice remove soot and mold as particles explode when they are pressure-driven onto the surface of the article being cleaned. Our containment systems trap the unwanted debris as it’s being released to help minimize the return of mold or reduce unwanted odor from smoke damage.
Types of clients:
We work with private individuals who find that they have a mold problem because of unexpected water damage from leaky roofs or broken pipes. Some of our homeowners have basements that have suffered flooding or find noticeable contamination from simple ground water seepage. Any public space where ventilation systems are concerned can become contaminated: schools, rec. centers and indoor pools are such places.
Smoke and fire damage come into the category of restoration because of the need to reclaim the usage of an area affected by smoke damage. Attic crawlspaces are easily contaminated with soot when a fire has occurred because of heat rising and carrying with it damaging smoke. Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) is a natural remedy for this because of its odor fighting benefits.

Confined Space
“Confined Space“ refers to a space which, by design, has limited openings for entry and exit, unfavorable natural ventilation which could contain or produce dangerous air contaminants, and which is not intended for continuous worker occupancy.
OSHA uses the term “permit-required confined space” (permit space) to describe a confined space that has one or more of the following characteristics: contains or has the potential to contain a hazardous atmosphere; contains material that has the potential to engulf an entrant; has walls that converge inward or floors that slope downward and taper into a smaller area which could trap or asphyxiate an entrant; or contains any other recognized safety or health hazard, such as unguarded machinery, exposed live wires, or heat stress.
Mobile Containment:
Our methods of dust control have been perfected over years of experience and Advanced Services & Solutions has developed a special system for a clean and dust free working environment.
