Fire Damage and Historical Restoration
Advanced Services & Solutions restoration specializes in historical monuments and structures suffering from smoke and fire damage. We also remediate mold & fungus contamination, which can be found on marble & limestone monuments as well as other older structures.
The main types of media used for cleaning, restoring and remediating are Dry Ice, Sodium Bicarbonate and Walnut Shells. Our Media is Non-Toxic and Environmentally friendly. FDA/USDA and OSHA approved.
The process of soda blasting is non-destructive. Sodium-bicarbonate and dry ice remove soot and mold as particles explode when they are pressure-driven onto the surface of the article being cleaned. Our containment systems trap the unwanted debris as it’s being released to help minimize the return of mold or reduce unwanted odor from smoke damage.

We help with maintaining monuments and historical structures. Often times these projects will require extreme caution in order to protect from damaging the existing artifacts beneath the contaminate. Some examples of these are cemetery sculptures, government building colonnades and friezes or antique gates and fencing. Wood, marble and wrought iron are just a few of the materials that soda blasting works well on.

Masonry can be affected since many home fires originate from the fireplace or chimney. Soda blasting works extremely well on brick and mortar surfaces because of its ability to scour tiny pits and crevices. Home attics are often contaminated with soot when a fire has occurred.
